  • Interview: Meet That Random Guy (@SoundHumor)

Fondly called as KutKut among his friends, That Random Guy aka @SoundHumor is hilarious in his tweets. One visit at his twitter feed and you can relocate your missing smile. He can make you buy pain and humour together in a single tweet. That is his power to play with words.  For long this random guy has kept his real identity hidden under too many names, well his talents and work are justifying it – he is a graphic designer, a twitter celeb (always online, tweeting every random thing), a blogger, a poet and a programmer.

Let’s meet Tanul Mittal from Ghaziabad. That Random Guy of only 19, who has his both hands full.

    Q. How ‘ThatRandomGuy’ becomes so popular on twitter?

Am I popular? I don’t know but yeah I tweet and write what I feel. So I think good interaction with people made me THAT RANDOM GUY. Like I could be anyone I don’t know myself!

    Q. Oh, you already are a blogger, graphic designer and a twitter celeb. What’s so random about , That Random Guy?Spill random things that nobody knows.

Okay 5 things that no one knows about me…

I love having ice creams no matter what my mood is. I enjoy a lot with friends but I know what my ambitions are. I am a LEO sure that means nothing. I love to CODE on a serious note. I am afraid what I dream I really get scared sometimes, that’s why insomniac too.

    Q. Who is your humour inspiration?

My thoughts and I would especially like to thank my parents who stood by me all the time and gave me a slap whenever I said something. That’s what I tweet I guess. Basically, I just tweet what I like and people love them. Humour is something which RVCJ admins don’t have. *shots fired*

    Q. You are 7K strong on twitter, do you throw tantrums at home?

Haha yes sometimes I do and my Mum ends up saying “Chal like my new facebook pic and check out my WhatsApp DP”.

    Q. How do you treat your 7K twitter following?

Well, to be honest, I receive a lot of messages daily on twitter regarding my blog, I try to reply them all. I interact with them freely. They are love.

    Q. We know you have a very engaging following at Facebook too, how do you define your social media presence?

Thank you, I am quick to tweet at peak timings or catch hold of the trendy topics in time. Content is king. People will like your content and they will start following you and remember you.

One incident I would like to share, there is a guy he named himself That sweet guy and he said to me that, “I love your tweets I used your tweets in some bad situations and copied your poems as I have to send it to my girlfriend and friends.” Saved me from many situations. So yeah there are really people who like me and ask me daily how was my day or so.

    Q. Oh, this is indeed a great help for maintaining love and harmony in the society. Tell our readers about your blog.

I created this WordPress blog to write my hidden soul and my feelings. I write to express not to be judged or criticised. My writings are impromptu, nothing is planned. My blogs are fully stuffed with my emotions and thoughts at that particular moment of writing. I proudly live in a country full of diversities. I love my motherland and I proudly say “BHARAT MATA KI JAI”. I am not a popular author, haven’t written any book yet but grateful that I got featured on many websites.

Q Who inspired you to start graphic designing?

After my 12th I decided not to be another struggling engineer and thus chose graphic designing. Learning and pursuing this career path I met few awesome people and my girl. People who inspire me are Aksharpathak  and SHE. They inspire me to design more. Talking about inspiration Aksharpathak’s  Tweetard  is my favourite project.

    Q. Where our readers can catch a glimpse of your creatives?

I have worked with Bode Animations (Flipkart Creative Team), ScoopWhoop  (long before) So yes you can see my designing there, Or follow me on https://www.behance.net/tanulmittal . I usually post updates on my facebook, instagram.

    Q. Which one is more gratifying to you – writing or designing?

Both. Writing, I write my feelings. Designing is what I do for the living and to feed my creative mind.
